Kanuni’nin o?ullar? ?ehzâde Mehmed, Mustafa ve Selim’in divan kâtipli?ini yapm??, ömrünün son y?llar?nda reîs-i küttâbl?k makam?na terfi etmi?tir. Vazifesi gere?i pek çok mektup kaleme alm?? devrinin muteber mün?ileri aras?nda yerini alm??t?r. Manzum-mensur muhtelif eserler telif eden Fazlî’nin in?â sahas?ndaki eserlerinden birisi de Rumeli T?marlar?na defterdar olarak atanan Ahmed Çelebi bin Mehmed isimli bir pa?ay? tebrik maksad?yla yazd??? Tehniyet-nâme’sidir. Mektup, Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi Â?ir Efendi bölümü 314/III numarada kay?tl? mecmuan?n 85b-92b varaklar? yer almaktad?r. mektubunda bu haberinden duydu?u sevinci samimi üslupla dile getirir.
